The Introduction of the Special Issue

Nanotechnology has emerged as a promising tool for solving numerous environmental, industrial and energy related problems. The current issue focuses on studies that report the use of Nanomaterials for enhancing or improving engineering products such as adsorbents, catalysts, filters, plastics, polymers, fertilizers, concrete, electronics, solar cells, mechanical parts, electric circuits, etc. Manuscripts from all scientific and engineering disciplines are welcomed e.g. chemical, petroleum, civil, electrical and mechanical. special care will be also provided for manuscripts reporting green and environmentally friendly procedures and applications that incorporate nanostructured materials.

Submitted articles should not be published or under review elsewhere. All submissions will be subject to the journal’s standard peer review process. Criteria for acceptance include originality, contribution, scientific merit and relevance to the field of interest of the Special Issue.
