The Introduction of the Special Issue

Material Science is an international, peer reviewed, open access academic journal which comprises the outstanding achievements of the world's leading researchers in dentistry. By publishing high-quality and novel articles in a wide range of categories, this journal is dedicated to expanding and evolving the knowledge of contemporary dentistry. Basic scientists and engineers will be able to obtain valuable information and innovative ideas from these articles. The mission of Special edition is to provide the scientific community with a reliable source of information relevant to current developments and discoveries related to polymers and their composites for energy related applications. The journal also acts as a forum for exchanging interdisciplinary scientific knowledge from Chemistry, Material Science, Energy Materials and engineering with professional and an educational point of view. With its broad scope bridging (yet not limited to) Polymers and their composites as efficient energy converting materials and integral components, the journal is dedicated to a challenge rather than to a topic or an intersection of topics. This challenge is to create cost effective polymer based composites for energy conversion devices.

Submitted articles should not be published or under review elsewhere. All submissions will be subject to the journal’s standard peer review process. Criteria for acceptance include originality, contribution, scientific merit and relevance to the field of interest of the Special Issue.
