The Introduction of the Special Issue

Industrialization and urbanization have increased exponentially over the decade. This has caused serious impact on the environment due to vast consumption of energy and eco-unsustainable production. Therefore, the scientists and engineers are placing more effort to design environmentally sustainable systems. To achieve sustainability, one potential solution is to use renewable resources to produce construction materials. This special edition aims to accept papers which investigatethe possibilities of reusing environmental waste to make building materials. All papers including the topics which deal with concrete, timber, steel are welcome.

The Research Scope of the Special Issue

·Effect on non bio degradable waste in construction

·Use of cold-formed steel in construction

·Use of environmental waste in construction

·use of innovative materials in building construction

·Case study of civil engineering materials
