The Introduction of the Special Issue Metal chalcogenides, including metal tellurides, selenides and sulfides, exhibit interesting electronic and magnetic properties and have found several applications in the field of materials science, which has attracted considerable research attention. This special issue aims at creating a forum of discussion on recent advances in synthesis and applications of metal chalcogenides. This issue accepts high quality articles containing original research results. The aim of this issue is to report synthesis of new materials with special applications. An article to be published in this issue must contain either some new applications to real world problems or reveal novel aspects of the theory applicable to new situations.

The Lead Guest Editor Azam Sobhani Azam Sobhani was born in Bojnord, Iran, in 1984. She received her BSc degree in chemistry from Kharazmi University in 2006, her MSc and Ph.D degrees in inorganic chemistry from University of Kashan in 2008 and 2013, respectively. She was a high school teacher for 11 years. In 2015, she joined the department of chemistry, Kosar university of Bojnord, as an assistant professor. Now she is also an assistant professor. |
