  Due to the amount of waste and environmental effects of using standard building and manufacturing material, a push to use sustainable and renewable materials in on the rise. The question is: will these materials be able to perform as well as the current standard materials used in the environments  those materials are employed in?   

  The viability and reliability of these new and untested materials needs to be ascertained and ensure these materials of the same quality and capabilities of the materials they are replacing.
