The Embodiment of Tragedy and Comedy in Chekhov's Dramatic Works
Abstrak
Chekhov's works are mostly working to judge realism. In the public's impression, most of these works are drama, that is, works with serious themes, but Chekhov has his own unique style in the creation of drama works. Taking seagull, uncle Vanya and cherry orchard as examples, they all reflect the depression and pursuit of some petty bourgeois intellectuals on the eve of the Russian Revolution. When creating such a tragic work, he injected comic elements into the work with his humorous strokes.
