Since ancient times, forest culture has accompanied human beings to civilization all the way. Today, human demand for forest resources and research on forest culture is increasing. Many scholars have made researches on Chinese forest culture with both theoretical and practical significance. However, to maintain our shared ecological home, we can't stop paying attention to the forest cultures around the world at all times and look for the reasons for the destruction of the ecological environment by tracing the source of forest culture. As the only biodiversity center in north China, Helan Mountain in Ningxia is the representative of forest culture in northwest China. Taking this as an example, the in-depth study can provide reference opinions for environmental protection and restoration in northwest China.Copyright (c) 2021 Jiaqi Zheng
